Bebushka Monetti • The Underwater Alien • Creator of Underwater Music was born on August 12th 1989 in San Jose, California. She fell in love with music as a child in Staten Island, New York where her passion for it began to blossom through the Performing Arts, Chorale & Jazz Band programs she enlisted in during her earlier years of school. It began a vast interest in not onlyperforming music as a singer/song writer but also through instruments she picked up such as the keyboard (and clarinet) to later on displaying itself through music
production, providing a sample to her creative motif with the first original record she composed & co-produced entitled.."Not Yet, No" which is now available on iTunes.
She credits some of her musical influences to Sade Adu, Aaliyah, Phil Collins,Enya, Ms. Lauren Hill & Erykah Badu to mention a few and continues to combine a creative fusion of R&B, Soul, Pop & Reggae tones,now known to the world as Underwater Music which includes favorites such as “Love Machine” & “Get On The Way”. Starting out of Houston, Tx on her musical journey that began January of 2013, Bebushka has graced the stagesof the city’s Night Club & Jazz Café scene. In September of 2013 she met & worked with Grammy Award Winner Christopher “Deep” Henderson (producer toJamie Foxx’s “Blame It”), writing group Planet VI & Musical Engineer Brian Hood of Hit City ATL in Atlanta, Georgia.
Using her smooth mellow tones and real heartfelt lyrics Bebushka touches hearts and minds of those near and far, old and young. Grasping listeners of all walks of life with concepts of a positive mentalilty towards love & support in any relationship dynamic. With a dynamic combination of memorable melodic sounds and passionate lyrics, it’s no doubt that this woman will one day grace the stagesof the Grammy Award ceremonies herself as a winner.
Through the things she says & the music she releases Bebushka Monetti continues to stand out. Knowing there is no power greater than the power of Love, in which all things are possible.
