THE ART​ LIFE

 

I find inspiration in the fabric I work with. I don't really find inspiration in things like trees, water, or etc. I like to go fabric shopping and just let the fabric speak to me. From there I let my mind run free and just come up with my designs.

 

I love reading about old fashion trends and different fashion eras. I get so inspired when I read bios of older designers such as Coco Chanel and how she got her big break into fashion or Christian Dior releasing his couture collection in 1947 that caused such stir. Stuff like that really get me inspired and ready to work on a new project.

 

I got my inspiration for my latest collection from the tropical floral orange fabric that is shown in my collection. The moment I saw that fabric I had to create something from it. So from there I came up with my color palette for the collection and just kind of let my mind take over for the rest. I have to say this is my favorite collection thus far. I feel like this speaks of the direction I'm trying to go with my brand now.
